Fiddling in the roof

I’ve been in the UK for five days now; not quite sure where the time has gone but it’s been lovely to catch up with family.

I’m not exactly jet-lagged, but my body clock is slightly out of sync with local life. It’s seven o’clock on a Sunday night and I really just want to go to sleep.

I’ve got so many potential posts buzzing around in my head, but for now all I can manage is some photos. So far my rooms have been in loft conversions; deliciously comfortable, well-done conversions. So here are the views from my windows this last week.

    • Thanks; I’m looking at blue sky behind the Forth Bridge this morning, and I’ve generally had a mix of sunshine and showers – within Mounties of each other. It’s like being in Auckland, but colder.

      • Oh not too bad then! This weeks been a bit of a shock to the system considering it’s been so warm lately then all of a sudden a big dip in temperature… nice sunshine and blue skies this morning though! ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope you enjoy the rest of your visit with family ๐Ÿ™‚

        • True; it is a bit nippy. Not good for wandering around graveyards, which always seem to be in exposed, windy places. Still, found a few members of the family so it’s worth the risk of hypothermia. ๐Ÿ™‚
