    • Thanks; it’s a really great piece and the location is amazing. It’s a huge sculpture park set in acres of native forest with streams and a lake in an old quarry. The place is a real gift to artists.

  1. I feel the same. The reason I was on the website (and found out it was closed) was to plan a trip down there over the summer. I will go to Kaipara because they have some of my favourite sculptors exhibiting at the moment. I was also going to book for a Gibbs Farm open day – but they are booked through to May next year. It does seem to say that Kiwis like outdoor sculpture – which is good, because I’m on the Board of NZ Sculpture onShore and we have an exhibition next November to raise money for Women’s Refuge. We need all the visitors we can get!
