    • Me too; and The Secret Museum is a perfect book for it. It’s about rare treasures held by museums around the world that aren’t on public display. Well-written and fascinating!

    • Thanks; they’re not my prescription glasses – but are much more beautiful. I have a red pair too. I’m sure your friend would love the book. The most touching story in it is of objects at the Foundling Hospital in London left by mothers with their babies. The idea was that these could be used to match mother and child when (if) the mothers came back to reclaim their children. Heartbreaking.
