Thanks Raewyn; it was the most beautiful morning and the beach was almost deserted. Perfection!

Book me in for a few of these, Su π I had perfect weather for my walk into town to catch the Glasgow bus, but it didn’t last! Thanks for the ping again π

I’ll try and send some sunshine your way. I can’t believe the Indian summer we are having. Apparently yesterday about half the country recorded the highest temperatures ever for the time of year. We seriously thought about going kayaking and only decided not to because hubby has a sore back and has to fly to Melbourne tomorrow so didn’t want to risk it lifting stuff.
I am slightly envious of your trip to Glasgow though. It’s a city I love and didnt’ get to last time I was in the UK π¦

I’m a mountain man myself, but My Beloved Sandra lives for the beach. She’d love this. Lovely work indeed.

Thanks Ron. I’ve almost always lived near a beach so mountains are alien turf to me. I love to visit the Central Plateau in NZ and always intend to explore the Southern Alps one day – but I’m terrified of heights, which doesn’t help.
