Trees and water: nature through my lens

This week a contrast. Above, nature as I often experience it; a reflection or a glimpse mediated through my very urban existence. Below, nature with all its noise and fury.

Trees and water; the same but oh so different.

This post was written for Sally’s Phoneography and Non-SLR Digital Photo Challenge. Like Sally, I’ve been away from home. Not for long, just a solo road trip to visit my father. My few days were filled with contemplation and reunion; new vistas and almost total independence from others. A wonderful experience, but it’s nice to be home.
