A intense and delightful photograph. It’s so vivid with the saturated colours and by the use of the complementary colour combination orange and blue. Very nice.
I’m so jealous! We have a “baking” apple tree in our yard that is so out of hand. The apples grow so high we can’t get them so they fall to the deck every time the wind blows. That’s how I know they are ripe!
I would love an apple tree; even a “baking” apple one. We used to have a plum tree that had inaccessible fruit – until we discovered the teenager next door was happy to climb for a share of the bounty! Thanks for stopping by; I have a vision of “apple rain” in high winds 🙂
This is a gorgeous shot, Su – and needs nothing to jazz it up.
Are your grapefruit always so utterly yummy-looking ?

Thanks Margaret Rose. Yes, it’s a very small tree and doesn’t produce a huge amount of fruit but they are yummy.
