In September 1893, New Zealand became the first country in the world to grant women the right to vote. One hundred and twenty one years on, I’m off to the polling booth. Photo: Su Leslie, 2014
🙂 was very proud to be Scottish yesterday; such a huge issue handled peacefully and with dignity. And despite some very dirty campaigning here, people voting also seem to have behaved with dignity.
🙂 It was interesting how many people I know were posting on social media that they had voted. The Big T and I even took the “Yes I have voted stickers” and wore them.

My daughter voted for the first time yesterday. She was so proud to say that now, she is finally an adult. 😀
