Word a Week Photography: chilled

Holidays are too infrequent these days. The Big T and I are both feeling overworked, and the boy-child is trying to juggle study for his final school exams with friendships, skating and generally being a teenager. I think it’s fair to say there’s not a lot of ‘chillin’ going on in our household.

So I’m choosing to remember some times when we’ve been less wound up and a lot more chilled.

  1. Dear Su,
seeing your pictures we are longing for snow. We live at the North Norfolk coast where we have mild winters unfortunately. We really miss the snow. The snow pictures radiate all the fun connected with snow. In the 10 years between the snow pics not only the snowman has grown quite a bit.
    Have a great weekend

    • Hi. Thank you so much. I love the snow — probably because I haven’t really had to live with it. When I lived in England, it was in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, so apart from a couple of very heavy falls, we didn’t really experience day to day life with snow. Here I live in Auckland which is both coastal and almost sub-tropical. No snow for us unless we go to the mountains. So for me, it is about fun! Thanks again. Cheers, Su.
