According to this morning’s paper, summer is about six weeks late — and it feels like it. Waking up to another day of leaden skies, I feel a lethargy bordering on dispair. And it’s Monday!

  1. GLORIOUS rose, Su ! Every one I see reminds me of why it is roses are my favourites – and I believe the world’s, too !
I have no idea things are so grim across The Ditch: we have no such problems, of late – and I fear for what’s ahead …

      • Yeah; it’s a bit like when I was a kid and didn’t like what we were having for dinner (most of the time – domestic godess my mum aint). And she (like countless other mothers) would do the whole “eat up, there are starving children in Africa who’d be grateful for this” and I used to wish she’d just send it to them. Or better still, move to Africa and cook there. 🙂
