Half full of what?

Not normally a glass half-full sort of person, tonight I appreciate the (albeit distorted) view of my garden in the wine, cos it’s way too hot to go out and experience the real thing.

    • It’s my special glass; a Christmas present almost thirty years ago from a friend who figured I should have something beautiful to drink from while i was writing up my thesis (my work habits in those days involved waking late, doing chores during daylight hours and settling down with a glass (or two) of wine to write from about 9pm til 2 or 3. I couldn’t do that now!

      • What joy it must have given you as a present. I should simply adore to have a glass like that …
