I’m hoping that 2015 will be an emergent year for me, though I don’t expect to leave behind such a complete shell of my past.

  1. Great post and something I need to think off. I have now shifted into an area that he wouldn’t dream that I would live in. It is affordable which is what I need as well. He wanted to meet me for a coffee and tell me how he was buying a new car and doing well, and try and get me to give up my lawyer so he doesn’t need to pay me anything. But he got a visit from the police instead. I am in regular contact with the Women’s Refuge as well for support. My motto – Onwards and Upwards.

    • So glad you are feeling happier and safer. He doesn’t sound like the sharpest knife in the drawer (no offense). Hope this year you can well and truly leave the past behind and make a wonderful fresh start.
