Mainly citrus; lemon, grapefruit, mandarin and key lime + an orange tree that never fruits. I’ve also got a couple of plum trees and a prolific fig tree 🙂
In Auckland, we’re having our first real rain today since mid-December. I’m so pleased; my poor garden has really suffered. I guess it’s still hot in Sydney, so pretty humid too?
Wow! I’m envious. I’ve been sleeping under just a sheet for weeks. We’re going to the northern hemisphere in a couple of weeks, and I’m fantasizing about being cool. 🙂
Today is much cooler thankfully. I have a lot of work to get finished in the next few days, and my office is unbearably hot in the afternoons. I’m hoping a few cooler days will enable me to spend more time, and get everything finished. Have you had any significant rain?
We have had some thunderstorms. But everywhere is so brown. We have a fire ban and water restrictions already. Thunderstorms do not wet the ground – the water runs off it. The heat is not pleasant here – the rain only increases the humidity.
I have to tell you …. I look so forward to your posts. Your photography makes me feel good.

So it’s been completely dry across the ditch ?
Weird how local the weather patterns can be, eh, Su ? – we’ve had a lot of the wet stuff.

Nup. We haven’t had heat for a couple of weeks, nor humidity. I’ve had to keep my travel rug handy for during the night !!!

As long as my eyelashes aren’t actually freezing to my eyes, it can’t be too cold!

You’ve caught that just beautifully, I can feel those leaves soaking up the rain. It sounds like Tasmania is getting the same(ish) weather as you.

Beautiful. I bet the humidity is high. We are suffering here too. Very dry and went with my son to EIT and drove down the back road – very brown.
