    • Thank you Mary. It is especially hard for my son who has never really known life without the cats. The poor kid is allergic to them (something we discovered after the fact) and so for him to cuddle them and even be around them is a big deal, but he’s never questioned that’s what he would do.

  1. Oh Su, I’m so sorry. The vet we chose for our wonderful rescued miniature schnauzer is the vet who helped me through a previous loss. I’m glad your vet let you hold Sirus. It can make a huge difference for both you and your beloved pet. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. ❤

  2. Oh Su, I’m just catching up to this post and feeling deep pain for you and your loss.

    Theo hasn’t been in our lives very long – not quite 4 years – but he is so deeply interwoven into my heart. I can’t imagine your sadness after 15 years together with Sirius.

  3. oh, Su, I am so sorry to read of the loss of your fur-baby. I have only just found your blog. Yes our beautiful Companion Animals leave a huge gap in our lives when we lose them. My thoughts are with you at this very sad time. So wonderful you could hold Sirus and give comfort.
