I began this year thinking that I’d like to learn how to take better photos of people, and even posted a few images I’d captured of the boy-child (Portrait #1).

Well, the intention hasn’t gone away, but I remain a bit nervous about asking friends to pose for me. So, last weekend when the Big T came back from mountain-biking in the rain, I knew I had a perfect subject for portrait #2.

    • Thank you. It’s not for me either. My willingness to get on a bicycle pretty much ended when we stopped being able to ride along a tow path to the pub! We used to live the Grand Union canal — flat land and lots of pubs! Nowadays I am much happier on two feet than two wheels. Thanks; Su.

      • Well, that makes five of us then. 😊
Between us, Kb feels so uncomfortable on a bike, he begins to stumble at the thought of mounting a bike and North Norfolk with the winding narrow country lanes being very bike- unfriendly, well, what shall I say; all our bikes ended up in a charity shop. Don’t give me away, will you? πŸ™ƒπŸ˜… 🚡🏼🚴
Luckily, the next pub is just a short walk away. 😊

  1. I’ve seen my husband looking similarly bedecked. In fact last night, he went on a ride with some other members of the bike club and it started raining not long after they started. They finished the ride a couple hours later and he was completely soaked and sporting a bit of mud when he got home. πŸ™‚
