Six Shot Saturday: Melbourne

I’m spending a long weekend with the Big T in Melbourne; one of my very favourite cities. Here are a few shots from my first couple of days here.

i’ve found a new place i could call home. Faded Victorian architecture and lots of quirky shops and cafes — I love you North Melbourne. Image: Su Leslie, 2016

  1. Hmmm. These pictures appeared perfectly normal (and quite intriguing) in the emailed notification I received, but here on your blog, they’re ridiculously elongated, despite refresh after refresh. Anyone else having the same problem?

    • Hehe. I was so busy photographing the wall, i didn’t touch it. I think that ever-changing, something new around the corner aspect of the city is what I love. I used to visit more often – when the boy hold was little and easy to take out of school, then the Big T stopped working here as often. Now he’s here most weeks, the boy is a man and I’m already thinking about my next trip here.

    • Oh yes! I had the best time. It’s relaxing being on vacation in a city I know and don’t feel that I have to rush around and “see” everything, yet offers so much to do when I am feeling active (if that makes sense).
