I was wondering though, would it look like clutter to you if it was someone else’s space? I for one, happen to be more critical of my own housework then other people’s.
That’s a really good point. I have trouble living with what I see as clutter, but I don’t really notice it when I’m visiting others — unless it’s so bad you can’t sit down because there is stuff on all the chairs. And I do get a bit twitchy when dirty dishes get left on counter-tops and in the sink for any length of time. You are right; I apply totally different standards to my own space! π
I suspect the Big T had been polishing it. He has a wonderfully bling-y approach to housework. Not that keen on cleaning, but very keen on getting a shine on chrome, glass and granite!
This is a lovely take on the challenge, Su Leslie.
Hmm, you call this little lot clutter …?

Your counter top is pretty clean. Dirt would probably show up readily.

Thanks Leslie. Clean, but the photographer in me says I should have moved the glasses and plastic container before I took the shot! π

I was thinking your counter looked amazingly empty! I think leaving the “clutter” adds to the photo.

Thanks Janet. I’m beginning to wonder if I’m abnormally tidy? π

Twice the clutter? You certainly have very little clutter in your kitchen or did you move it out of the way π Nice photo – nice kitchen
