It is nice to think that even though everything up here in the northern hemisphere is shrivelling up and dying (in a blaze of color, mind you), you in the southern hemisphere are experiencing springtime.
π springtime in Auckland is traditionally very wet and pretty cold. We keep telling ourselves “it will be summer soon” through chattering teeth, forgetting how humid summer is. I love autumn!
This is a lovely and delicate photo Su, You’ve composed it really well and captured the hint of things to come.

True. The garden is suddenly looking quite lush and the trees have blossom. The fig tree even has lots of little tiny figs!

Auckland sounds a lot like Vancouver. We tend to have cold, wet springs after an initial warm spell in March-April.
I actually love autumn too, something I seemed to have inherited from my parents: https://researchingmyself.wordpress.com/2013/10/10/mutual-love-of-autumn/

I’ve heard that. I really must go to Vancouver sometime; I hear such good things from people who’ve visited.
