Thanks Janet. It was an interesting experience watching the photo shoot. I’d love to have a peek at the photographer’s images. He seemed to have a great eye for striking shots.
Aww – this is soooo lovely! You can see their joy and love right there! And I absolutely love the effect on the watery sand, it looks like a perfect romantic painting! You are the best wedding picture crasher, Su π
Thanks Sarah. It’s funny you should say that; I seem to have a talent for turning up in places where couples are trying to have wedding photos taken. My brother and I were picnicking in a park once when a bridal party turned up and wanted to use the exact place we were sitting. They bribed us with champagne to move. π
Haha! I also want to be bribed away with champagne! π ThatΒ΄s a wonderful talent of yours! Do you offer the couples to send them the pictures, I wonder, or do you keep them only for yourself (and us π )?
Hehe. Given that they all have a professional photographer with them, I think they probably wouldn’t want my photos. And I think my interest is too “sociological” — people like glamorous shots of themselves. xxxx
Well, I would love to get my hands on a picture like this! π But then IΒ΄m not so much into glamorous shots of myself anyway π Most of the time those unplanned pics are so much better than the so called professional ones! xxxxxxxxx
I agree, candid shots so often capture much more personality. Having said that, I tend to look waay more stern in photos when I’m not ready for them. π
Haha! Yes, that happens to me also a lot π But I guess thatΒ΄s because I always feel more comfortable standing behind the camera instead of in front π
π now there is an interesting thought! Though it could be that she would have had real difficulty walking on the beach in her high heels.
She definitely seemed a lot more at ease with the whole set-up. She was walking around in her long dress, with a little feathered fascinator on her head in quite strong winds, and happily following the photographer’s direction. Her hubby looked a bit uncomfortable — especially at the holding hands and dancing bit.
Oh this makes my heart sing!

She’s bare foot and he has his shoes on. She’s ready but maybe he’s not?
