The feathers look so soft that the pictures almost appear to be air-brushed!

😃 I actually managed to zoom in on the tail feathers of one bird, and you’re right, they look amazingly soft.

Gannets! I travel to see them once a year in May. Awesome creatures.

Totally agree. I’m feeling so lucky that the colony is only about a 25 minute drive away.

Lucky indeed. I see them only during the breeding season. How wonderful that would be to watch them throughout a year.
