Thank you Janet. It was wonderful to wake early on the first day of a new year in a new place and have the world largely to myself for a little while. We were at Waitangi, where NZs founding document was signed 177 years ago, for a friend’s wedding and pretty much everyone else was still asleep. It felt very special and quite energising. I’m going to hold on to the memory to strengthen my resolve to face this year with good humour, a smile and openness. I hope 2017 brings you and your family fulfilment and joy.
I love having the morning to myself (or other parts of the day as well.) Sounds as if you had a great time and hopefully those memories will be something to hold onto when times get tough (and hopefully they won’t.)
