That was the plan; but nature took it’s course while we were out. I guess that’s what WC Fields (?) was thinking of when he said never to work with children or animals. 😀
We didn’t get to see it 😕 but the evidence suggests that the butterfly emerged successfully. And we have lots fluttering around the swan plants, so hopefully more caterpillars to come.
