Nowhere is silent at the moment; it’s cicada season. The pine forest part of the park was quieter than the rest though. Not as many birds there either.
Thanks Debbie. I’d love to walk in this forest more often (or any forest), but my neighbourhood is pretty built-up now so regular walks are pretty forest-free.

So mysterious. In the UK pine forests area usually very very quiet. Not a bird in ear-shot. This looks like a silent forest too.
