It’s what I’d expect in our spring too. The seasons seem very mixed up. We have baby lambs and calves in the fields at the moment. I feel so sorry for them being born into such cold, wet weather.
I think it’s partly a matter of luck with the shot, but those flowers do seem to grow pretty straight (despite having been planted without a great deal of thought on my part). π

It’s about the only thing, except for the impatiens. Still, I think next week I’ll have magnolia flowers. The buds are so ripe.
