All life is dependent on a myriad of tiny structures, combining to create forms which interact with others.
From the strong, almost transparent wings of a bee, to the plants they feed on and pollinate, if we destroy just one structure, we put the whole system at risk.

I took many photos of bees on garlic chives yesterday. I find it amazing that you are 1//2 a world away doing the same.

I never think of flowers as having structure, but this picture shows they really do.

My son was obsessed with the Fibonacci sequence at one stage, and we were endlessly looking at things like flowers and shells to count petal or whorls to see if they were Fibonacci numbers.
