Never ceases to amaze me that this tiny precious flower will eventually yield such delicious bounty Is that a wisp of a spider web in the first photo?

True. These trees historically have lots of blossom, and very little fruit. I pruned hard at the end of last year, so maybe this time we will more fruit. 🙂

I did my plan for the week last night and I included the weather forecast. It says rain everyday except Sunday. I don’t know how much but still…. 🙃

😦 I wasn’t crazy about British winters, which were pretty cold and wet. At least here winters are not particularly cold, and (in Auckland at least) it doesn’t get dark before 5pm!

🙂 some days it does feel as though whatever weather pattern you’re having is endless. We’ve had rain for so many days now, my lawn is resembling a swamp and I’m starting to feel grateful we don’t have any wild crocodiles here!

I love your seasonal posts. They mess with my own internal clock just enough to help me be more aware of my own seasonal “blessings”. We are on the tail end of summer and I am looking forward to the cooler weather. But I need to keep right on enjoying the full blooms while they are here.

I feel the same way. It’s so strange reading about snow falls and freezing temperatures when we’re sweltering in 99% humidity.

You should see Irma which is hitting the Caribbean at the moment, Su. It’s awful. Our daughter and her husband just got back from Florida. It’s suppose to hit there by Saturday.
