Although I’m not religious, I do find churches places of great serenity.
We’ve been home from the Coromandel for a couple of days and are already thinking we need another holiday. But on the plus side, I’ve been sorting my photos from the trip. I think this is one of my favourites.
We’re back from holiday and trying to catch up on all the everyday-life stuff that lies in wait for weary travelers.

Pohutukawa, or New Zealand’s native “Christmas tree” is beginning to flower along the Coromandel coast, wreath ini many of the small beaches we’ve visited in crimson and green.
