Both Elsie at Ramblings of a Writer, and Lucile at Sights and Insights invited me to join this challenge, and I offer apologies to both for taking so long to get started.

So here we are.

“Seven days. Seven black and white photos of your life. No people. No explanation. Challenge someone new each day.”

I invite Janet at This, That and the Other Thing to come along if she would like to.

  1. Funny that you should mention me, Su. I was invited recently but never got around to it. I think I’ll take that challenge on, but not consecutively, as I don’t want to miss some of the challenges I participate in. Thanks! Love your shot, BTW.

    • Thanks Janet. I’m pleased you’re happy to do it. I dithered around for a while both because I didn’t want to do it consecutively (for exactly the same reason — and I’m not) and because I’m never sure quite how people feel about the invitations. I know we can refuse, but I for one am not always comfortable doing that. Anyway, look forward to seeing your shots in due course 🙂

  2. I have just seen Sue (above) complete this challenge. She left the invite open so anyone could choose to enter if they wanted to. Seems a good policy to me. I don’t usually like flowers in b&w but the addition of the bee takes this photo to another level. Love the fuzzy bee back covered in pollen, it is that kind of texture which works plus the delicacy of this flower and the overall softness.

    • Thanks Jude. I like Sue’s policy on this too (and will almost certainly adopt it at some stage during the challenge). I wasn’t sure about the photo in b&w, but decided in the end it’s all about that lovely fuzzy bee body.
