    • 🙂 He did have one like it, but we saw this in a bike park while we were on holiday. Someone had parked it at the beginning of the BMX track, which was pretty funny. Most of the boy-child’s toys have been given away to other families. We have kept books, and Lego and some of his Thomas the Tank Engine trains, but he has been pretty keen to give a lot to the Mission and little kids that we know. As for being a Grandma — he is pretty anti having kids and I’m cool with that, certainly for the time being. 🙂

      • That is wonderful that he is so giving! We have so many cousins that we have kept almost everything so far. It seems we are a revolving door of children visiting so the toys have not yet lost their relevance. My older boys are nowhere near ready to be parents, but with a 5 year old in the house, I’m guessing they will get there well before he is grown. But who knows? 😉

  1. We definitely got to a point where there weren’t any little kids visiting so it made sense to think about what to do with the toys. We never know what our kids will do, but with the age gap it does seem likely that the first grandchildren could have a very young (and probably seriously cool) uncle 🙂
