Actually, I have no problems on that front. As a babe I imprinted on our labrador who used to sit by my highchair and drool. Mother was most upset (so she told me later) that I spoke the dog’s name long before hers. I was a perceptive sprog!
Corn fritters! I don’t normally mush the kernels up (and don’t use creamed corn), but I did with these to make them flat enough for the toppings. They worked really well (thankfully). We had a family lunch to attend and I knew all the other food would be wonderful!
Oh my. Blinis? Never had one, but I could shove a few of those down my throat delicately eat one or two of those π I don’t suppose there are any left?
Yum, yum!! We’ll be having some similar goodies come Christmas Eve, when we always do hors d’oeuvres after the Christmas Eve service at church and open the gifts in our stocking. Can’t wait.
It’s been a good thing I wasn’t around on that family lunch because I would have played hoover and eat the lot without giving anyone else a chance to compliment you on your cooking skills! π xxxxxxx
Hehe. They did go pretty quickly. I was so engrossed in playing with our family’s newest addition (nephew, only 9 months old and sooooo cute) that I didn’t notice!! xxxxxxx π
Waw very nice

You’re causing more drooling at this end of the world. Yum and double-yum.

Love it!
The boy-child named several foodstuffs, a variety of four-wheeled vehicles and his father before getting round to naming me.

π not exactly blinis. Mini corn fritters. And no leftovers I’m afraid; all scarfed while lunch was cooking. I don’t normally do canapΓ©s; they always seem like a huge effort for a single mouthful, but these were surprisingly easy!
