Still howling here, but thank goodness the rain has stopped, after leaving a decidedly large pool of water in our conservatory! Also blew my camellia over which I am not happy about as a branch was broken off π¦ (it is in a pot, so maybe I need to find a spot in the garden where it can establish deep enough roots to withstand this kind of wind.)
Nope. This is definitely my new favorite image of yours. I love how the lines and the storm pull you in. There is so much power and rage building up in those clouds. Lovely photo, Su.
Thanks Amberly. The storm that blew in lasted a few days and did some pretty major damage to roads and seawalls, and combined with high tides flooded a few places too. π¦ Beauty and power in nature.
the vortex almost pulled me right in (I wish…) ha

Great capture of the somber mood at the beach with the dramatic clouds overhead and the lonely person sitting at the water’s edge!

Very atmospheric. It reminds me of how I feel squeezed between sky and land on a nor’west day. Any lightning?

π no lightening here yet, but the boy-child said he saw some at his place.

Stormy sky, but still looks like somewhere I would want to be.

π It was the first time we’d been to that beach. I’d definitely go back π I’m sure Choppy would love it.

Yes there’s a bit of cloudy weather there. If it were here, there would be a ton of snow coming.

Instead we’ve got a tropical storm. Hopefully it will blow through and take away the humidity of the last few days. π

Sounds SO much like here! But I suspect your temperatures are a tad higher. We are around 12 degrees.

Just a bit! It’s about 21 degrees here. Off to the west coast this afternoon so the Big T can ride his Fat Bike on the beach, in the rain π
