My missionary son lived in one apartment where the coffee table was completely covered in writing from all of the different missionaries who have lived there. It appears it was very damaged when it was added to the apartment as the top is just MDF without any type of finish. Your picture made me smile thinking of that table. 🙂
I love that. I hope people photograph it as a reminder of who has lived there. One of my step sisters has a Christmas tablecloth that she gets everyone to write messages on, and a friend from Uni has something similar, except that she gives guests needles and embroidery thread and has them embroider little pictures and messages. That is really fun!
Love the caption!
Also the writing on the table: how very poignant and true!

That is such a very creative thing to do – presents for everyone, including oneself.

Did you stumble across this Su, or did you write it? Interesting, never be afraid of change/uncertainty….

An artist friend has written it on a table on her studio. She teaches art classes, and has lots of little messages and words of wisdom dotted around.
