I like fuchsias and my plan this year is to have a collection in pots in the front courtyard which is north facing, so no sun. I have several to dig up and plant in containers, and several small cuttings to pot on once the weather is fit enough to spend more than 5 minutes outside! Fuchsias are one of the plants I seem to be able to grow well from a cutting. Quite fancy a standard or two as well, or maybe that is too ambitious.
π and I thought I was doing well just knowing how to spell fuchsia. But seriously, I love the idea of a courtyard of colourful fuchsias, especially if it doesnβt get much sun. Looking forward to photos when its established π
I love fuschia! I always plant them on my porch. My Grandma also grew them and called them a “lipstick plant”. I’m not sure why she called them that but I love the memory.
Fuchsia is my favorite hanging plant. Beautiful!

Fuchsias are such adorable flowers; they look like dancers just getting ready to twirl!

I love them too, but have never grown them. I can kind of see how your grandma got that name for them; and I think itβs cool. π
