I know what you mean. It was such fun watching the little filaments unfurl. The tree I picked the branch off is in a forgotten corner of my in-laws garden, where I’d never walked before. We went to pick some lilies (my late mother in law loved lilies, tulips and daffodils and planted hundreds of them), and ended up exploring. 🙂 xxxxxx
Whoa! Such a cool shot. Can’t for the life of me figure out what it is, though. Care to reveal, Su?

A flower bud unfurling. I think the plant’s called calliandra. The flowers are like splayed brushes. I’ll takes some shots of these and post them.

I believe it’s a type of calliandra. The shot is of a flower bud just beginning to unfurl itself.

Pingback: Out of this World – Window – What's (in) the picture?
It’s kind of embarrassing that my in-laws bought the property about 12 years ago, and there are huge areas of it that I’ve never explored. 🙂

An incredible take of the Challenge! Love how you’ve used bokeh (Cee taught me this word) here – it really brings the Out-of-this-Worldliness!
