I love the play of light on coloured glass, and have been enjoying how the late afternoon catches this vintage jug and glasses .

Five Minutes of Random (the #RegularRandom) challenge is hosted by Desley Jane at Musings of a Frequently Flying Scientist.

If you’d like to join in:

  • choose a subject or a scene
  • spend five minutes photographing it – no more!
  • try to see it from many angles, look through something at it, change the light that’s hitting it
  • tag your post #regularrandom and ping back to Desley’s post
  • have fun!

  1. Well captured Su. Lovely bokeh in some of these images and the light is lovely. I have a water jug and two glasses (that were a wedding present to my parents in 1945) in a similar, but plain dark green. You have made me want to find some sunlight for them 😀

    • Thanks Jude. How lovely to have one of your parents’ wedding presents. 🙂
I bought my jug and glasses recently to sit on a junk-shop tea trolley I restored. I have been saying all summer I’d make Sangria and we’d drink it on the deck out of the glasses, but heigh ho, it’s autumn :-/
