Ooh, really? Make sure you stay away from those earthquake zones though. I believe I have a nephew in Christchurch at the moment – he is a civil engineer and works all over the world, but last I heard he was in NZ.

The whole country is relatively earthquake-prone, though further north where we live, volcanos erupting are more of a threat. But it is all relative I suppose. We were in Christchurch the other day for the first time since the quakes. Lots of condemned buildings, and even more empty lots. On the plus side, I guess parking is abundant and cheap at the moment. The re-build is certainly drawing people from all over the world; hope your nephew enjoys his time here.
