At home, I’d have been grumpy about so much rain. But I always find the Otago Peninsula a magical place — even though we were in the clouds on the way back across the ridge. Actually, it’s probably as well, the road is very narrow and windy with massive drops into the valleys and I have no head for heights.
Perfect!

Sometimes we just need to disconnect from the things we need to do and enjoy the bliss of doing nothing. Have a great day, Su!

Thanks Peter. It was a really wet, cold day. Perfect for doing nothing.

That’s a lovely image despite the weather. Or maybe because of the weather!

Doesn’t sound like the kind of road my OH would enjoy. Me on the other hand…

It is a magical place. The sort of place one can imagine living while writing “the great novel.”

Oh it was. We drove out on the coast road and home along the ridge. We were totally in cloud most of the time. π
