Regular random: five minutes with winter

Trying to capture winter; tamarillo, persimmon, some fallen leaves and a deconstructed obi. Su Leslie 2018

It rained all through the holiday weekend, and I really didn’t feel like leaving the warmth of home. It meant that meals were a bit “creative” and the fruit bowl is now empty.

Regular Random is a photo challenge hosted by Desley Jane at Musings of a Frequently Flying Scientist. If you’d like to join in:

  • choose a subject or a scene
  • spend five minutes photographing it – no more!
  • try to not interfere with the subject, instead see it from many angles, look through something at it, change the light that’s hitting it
  • have fun!
  • tag your post #regularrandom and ping back to Desley’s post

  1. Hehe! Totally know what you mean with having to be creative food wise because it´s too cold to go out (not at the moment of course but I do remember a thing called winter 😉 ). Such beautiful colors, the obi is the perfect background! I think I´v never tried a tamarillo but I love persimmons – even have cultivated two trees out of seeds from fruits I once ate. Sadly they never grow blossoms – so no fruits. But they´re still lovely. 🙂 xxxxxxx
