Love the drops and mood of the picture
– but this is my least favorite flower
Well not very least – but have had history with roses and also “like” them
But not a fav – isn’t that unusual!?
🙂 I wouldn’t say roses were my favourite flowers either. I’m a lily and iris fan. A friend of mine used to breed Japanese irises, and there is one out there named after me. 🙂
What a beauty, Su! I’m still shaking my head that my Friday Flowers posted on Thursday…before my Thursday Doors. Not sure what I was thinking about when I tried to schedule it. 🙂 Have a wonder-filled weekend!!
Thanks Janet. I’ve done that before. 🙂 And finished posts I’ve started earlier only to find they are “published” on the date they were created so that they disappear.
We’re away exploring this weekend, so hopefully the weather will play nice.
Wishing you a great weekend. 🙂
What a beautiful rose! And those drops are just the perfect ornament! I didn´t know the quote before but I totally love it!! Copying it down in my journal at once! 😀 xxxxxxx

So nice to have scented roses. So many these days don’t have a perfume.

Lovely lovely peach – such an unusual shade for a rose!
And that quote is in turn comforting & thought-provoking.

Yes; someone famous did say that one rose says more than a dozen, but I can’t remember who (probably lots of people). Wishing you a lovely weekend.

I like the quote a lot; but sad and somehow uplifting. Hope you’re having a great weekend. xxxx
