I haven’t heard that variation of the saying. I suspect that if I’d known the Big T’s grandmother, I’d know a lot more local sayings. T has the odd phrase that he attributes to his gran, but I suspect there were lots of others. I’d also love to have known her for genealogical reasons of course.
