Seven Day B&W Challenge — Street Photography: Day Seven
My friend Sarah at Art Expedition is hosting a variation on the Seven Day B&W Challenge — this time the image must include people.
The rules are:
• Thank the person who has nominated/tagged you and provide a link to their blog.
• Go out and take pictures of complete strangers for 7 days in a row and post one of them each day of the challenge (you can also post 7 photos in one post if you´re more comfortable with this).
• The photos should be in b/w.
• Nominate as many people as you like
I haven’t managed to get out shooting as much as I’d like, so this challenge has taken way longer than expected, but it is definitely worth doing.
As always, I’m not a fan of individual nominations, but invite everyone to take part in this if you can fit it in your blogging schedule.

Thanks Janet. Yes, it’s taken a bit longer than seven days, but I got there. I definitely need some colour shots — especially as it’s a bit overcast and gloomy here today.

It’s the new ASB theatre down at Wynyard. It’s a really interesting building. I must go and explore properly when I’m not actually going to a performance.

It was an interesting one for me — who struggles with the ethics of photographing people versus the desire to capture an interesting shot!! I’d love to see your photos if you do get a chance to do it.

It’s definitely got a Starship Enterprise sort of feel. I was a fan of the TV show as a kid, but haven’t watched any of the newer stuff. Though I probably could handle the Patrick Stewart shows purely to hear his voice.

I grew up with The Next Generation, so Patrick Stewart will always be my Star Trek captain number 1. 😉 Though I only ever saw it in German as there were no DVDs back then offering the original version. But I know now what you mean – he´s got a brilliant voice. 😉
Later I watched all the others as well, and what can I say? This girl is a Trekkie! 😂

Was it dubbed? I love European films, but prefer them to be sub-titled. I remember seeing a Russian film once which had Cossacks who talked like James Cagney (I swear, one actually said “you dirty rat”). I couldn’t take it seriously 😂😂

Yes, it was. And I have to say Germans really do a great job with dubbing movies and series. Whenever I’m in Spain and watch an American film dubbed in Spanish it’s just horrible! They pick the wrong kind of voice and the movements of the lips never fit what they say. I’ve heard that in Sweden they only use subtitles for foreign films etc to encourage people to learn English.
Hehe! I’d have loved to see the Cossack say that! Lol! 😄

If only I could speak German. 😀 I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a dubbed film — except maybe for the soundtrack’s comedy value.
