But what originally caught my eye about this post is your title: Crépuscule au port
Crepuscular is a word I learnt this week from my Older Daughter – I thought is such a delicious word and I have been thinking on how I can work it into a poem. And here I see it proudly illuminating your post!
You know, after percolating this word for a couple of weeks, I actually heard it used in a talk (about Writing Creative Non-fiction!) when the speaker mentioned listening to the bird call of a particular crepuscular! I was thrilled to bits!

Isn’t it a great word. But I can’t marry it to the meaning in my head. I hear it and think of ageing and wrinkles.
