I have a little nest like this (abandoned, too, of course) somewhere here at home and I took quite a few pictures of it. Makes a wonderful macro as your photo so beautifully shows.

Amazing 3D geometry, magical image. Imagine amount of work that went into making this perfect creation. I think if I made something similar, I would never abandon it 🙂
