Where will the food grow now?

When productive land is re-zoned to allow developers to build high-density housing for a growing population (growing largely through inward migration), does anyone else wonder where the food for all these new people is going to come from?

  1. Sadly the same problem is happening in the UK. ‘Green belts’ are being consumed by new housing estates and centuries of farmland are destroyed for ever. We have empty ‘brown sites’ (disused factories and inner city areas) that could be creatively used for new homes but that would cost more money! 😔
