“Little Wing”, written and illustrated by my friend Claire Delaney, has just been published in a soft-back, full-colour edition. And although you can’t see it, I have a photo credit for the author portrait on the inside back cover.

I like your book selections a lot!
The salt one and then sociology on the menu are two I’d pour over for a while –
😉
And the best part about used books is we really do save the landfill while we also get to compare them and now – and I wish I could read more comments from this thread! Maybe later –

😀 know what you mean. The comments on some posts add so much depth and can take them in whole new directions.

Thank you. My role is definitely tiny in comparison to Claire’s, but it is nice to have an image used and acknowledged in a professional context.

Maybe tiny but certainly important.

Congratulations to you both! It is always rewarding to get one’s book published.

Thanks Peter. That is true. Little Wing was first published as a limited edition, hand-printed and bound book, so this more affordable edition will bring it to a much wider market.

Congratulations to you, Su! IMHO they should sell the mug and book as a set. Absolutely charming.

Thanks. Interestingly, the friend who gave me the mug also gets a credit as the one who inspired the story in the first place 😀😀

Good for both of you!! Just got back from yet another trip to the library. Fortunately (or not), it’s only about 5 minutes from our house. 🙂

Oh to have a library so close by. I feel quite lucky to live within 10-15 drive of several libraries, but parking at all of them is a nightmare.

Ours is fine as long as I get there between 9 and 9:30, but after that it can be hard because it’s a city parking in a busy downtown.

That’s the advantage of living so close by. By the time our libraries open, traffic has been building for a couple of hours and it would take me even longer to get there at the start of the day. 😂
