A much more enjoyable sign than the obstacle course of sugary things in every supermarket and Michael Buble’s Christmas album on every sound system. Not to mention the traffic jams within 5km of every mall. 😬
I LOVE agapanthus….. couldn’t believe that it’s their season over there. And can’t wait for mine to grow again. Right now they are only a few sad brown leftovers looking out of their pot. I had to take them into the veranda over the winter.
I love agapanthus flowers, Su!

They are very pretty, and prolific on every roadside here.

The flower to grow when all else fails 😉

Hehe. Do people deliberately grow them in NZ? They just seem to spring up on every roadside.

Ah, spring time in the southern hemisphere! It must be nice to see the first flowers bloom.

If only we could stop getting big storms every few days ☹️

Thanks Peter. Wild weather’s not unusual for the time of year, and at least it isn’t cold 😀

I know, Su. Groan. I don’t go near a mall. But even the supermarket is congested for the whole month, but there is only so much you can eat and drink!

Especially as I don’t like a lot of “christmas” foods 🙂

I’m not familiar with this flower, Su, could you show us when it is fully in bloom, please.

Will do. They will be out in profusion soon and are always a favourite of mine to photograph.

I bet they are quite the show when they’re out.

They do look a bit sad when they’ve done flowering.
