  1. They have a tendency to grow everywhere…. WHEN and IF they feel like it. I’ve had tons in UK where they also were a fertile ground for a sort of invasive butterflies who took them as ‘mothering plant’ and then later on ate them and lots of other plants….. but I couldn’t get them to grow in France. I even stole them from a ‘left to wilderness’ home (growing over and through their fence – I never ever saw a human being), planted them several times and places and they never took off…. Love them all the same.
And I have an English friend and keen gardener who adores them to the point that I get at least once per year a nasturtium card, picture, artificial plant etc…. isn’t he a darling?!
