I think anywhere has nicer weather than us at the moment! Though it has been somewhat rainy in NZ and I believe Queensland in Aus has been somewhat wet! Not cold though 😉
In all the years we lived in England, the closest we came was a white-ish Boxing Day. That was good — we were living in a pretty village surrounded by fields and it was quite magical.
I live in London at the moment but was brought up in a lovely village in Oxfordshire on the edge of the Cotswolds. We were often snowed in. Fantastic at the time as it meant no school 🤣🤣
Every child’s dream!!! I used to pester my dad to become a lighthouse keeper so we could live somewhere remote and not have to go to school at all. Strangely neither he nor my mother thought that a very good idea.
They have a tendency to grow everywhere…. WHEN and IF they feel like it. I’ve had tons in UK where they also were a fertile ground for a sort of invasive butterflies who took them as ‘mothering plant’ and then later on ate them and lots of other plants….. but I couldn’t get them to grow in France. I even stole them from a ‘left to wilderness’ home (growing over and through their fence – I never ever saw a human being), planted them several times and places and they never took off…. Love them all the same.
And I have an English friend and keen gardener who adores them to the point that I get at least once per year a nasturtium card, picture, artificial plant etc…. isn’t he a darling?!

I planted some from seed in a pot this summer and they didn’t flower 😢 yours looks a lot healthier even at the end of the season 👍

Definitely not cold. A southerly wind for the next few days, which is keeping temperatures very comfortable 🙂

They are weeds here and can be really invasive, but having said that, it’s the first time I’ve seen them venture onto our property. 😀
