I understand, Su. I’m having a laugh imagining you crouched by the roadside taking photos of vehicles that go by. Of course I know that’s not how this photo came about, but… π
Hehe. Itβs our car, parked at a beac on the way home from T riding part of the Hauraki Rail Trail. It was a lovely day, and reminded me we need to get out of town more.
What kind of car is it? It’s pretty! I can’t wait til spring gets here in Maryland. The days are noticeably longer, but we still have some snowy days ahead. I’m glad you’re enjoying your summer!
It’s an Audi. I don’t know the model — I’m rubbish at that sort of thing. It’s a great car for road-trips, and I think we are in need of one soon. Hope the rest of your winter isn’t too harsh.
IΒ΄m quite known for literally lying on the floor to get some shots done, so I know how awkward it can be. And then only in summer! π π But it does make more for better pictures most of the time.
Definitely wishful thinking in my cold and snowy world right now. Dreaming of warmer weather …

I also immediately thought—a car advertisement! Maybe you can sell it to whoever manufactures that car (or bike).

Hehe. That was definitely the look I was going for. Iβm practicing auto shots for when T gets his motorbikes going again.

A bicycle on top of a car would be a rare sight here in frigid Canada right now.

Thanks so much. It was an “aha” moment in terms of photography. I’ve never really shot from below a subject before.

π since my knee got sore I have to think about how to get back up off the ground if I lie down ππ Itβs not always dignified.
