After the rain February 24, 2019 / Su Leslie (Click to enlarge image) It wasn’t the downpour predicted, but there was rain overnight, leaving a few drops of moisture clinging to the jade plant this morning. Share this:TwitterFacebookPinterestEmailLike this:Like Loading... Related
Thanks. Hopefully more rain will come in a few days. Better a couple of heavy showers than one downpour. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
I like this photo of this plant with its dark green colour. Great shot, Su! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Thank you. The world is definitely looking a little bit greener since the rain. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Does your Jade plant flower? I have had one for years, but no sign of any flowers.I think maybe it isn’t hot enough here. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
It does, but not every year. We have four of them, and two flower probably about every third year; the other two never. LikeLiked by 2 people Reply
How odd. Are they in pots or in the ground? Same location? Mine spends the summer outdoors and winter in the conservatory (unheated). LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
All in pots. Two by the front door, two round the back of the house outside T’s office. They face different directions, so I guess it’s about the sun they get. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
The flowering ones get afternoon sun, and possibly are a bit more exposed to rain. LikeLiked by 1 person
The flowers are white and quite pretty — just very random in their appearance. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply

It is a very cool plant, and grows really well from cuttings.
