There aren’t many flowers around right now; with even the hydrangea and agapanthus looking well past their best.
In the northern hemisphere though, Spring is arriving, and with it blossom.
So for those still shivering in winter temperatures, or staring at the dessicated ground where flowers used to be, the promise– or maybe the memory — of cherry blossom
Beautiful! I can practically smell it! π

I can’t wait for our cherry tree to blossom in about two months. In the meantime I will have to be content with your beautiful photo, Su.

I like and need that promise right now as we’re still mired in winter but without any beautiful snow to make it seem worthwhile. π For my flower tomorrow, I’m going in a rather different way, but one I know you’ll enjoy. See you then.

Yes, the early blossom is in the trees, the full spread is yet to arrive though!

They are really lovely Su. Right now we are living on vapours of the thoughts of Spring. Another snow storm is scheduled for Saturday.

I can’t believe you have no flowers already? Maybe time to pop down to the Auckland Wintergardens or Botanic Garden. I assume there is one?

I was thinking of a wee road trip to Hamilton Gardens β on a weekday when I can have a better look round the Mansfield Garden. π

The weather here in sunny Florida cannot figure out what it wants to do. But March will be here and warm weather and flowers soon to follow. This photo is so pretty in its muted tones.

I think the confused weather seems to be pretty much global β sadly but unsurprisingly

Isnβt it lovely to βgrazeβ over the fence. As per season here and there, we gain joy and shiny eyes looking at each otherβs seasonal blooms and fruits!

I particularly love the autumnal shots people in the Northern Hemisphere post. Most of our native flora is evergreen, so we donβt get such an intense colour palette in autumn here.

Oh, so pretty! Being from the Washington DC area, I knew immediately what it was! We should have them here in a month or so.

Ooh! So beautiful! I could see this image on a lovely satin bedthrow or luscious cushions! And I can’t wait for the flowers to arrive here. π xxxxx

Thank you. Iβve been thinking I need to learn Photoshop a bit better so I could play with making repeating patterns out of some images. I would love to do textile design.
